I have been thinking about making a DPaint clone for windows for a while now, but not really sure if anyone would want such a program today. It seems like a lot of people are doing their pixel work in Photoshop, Paintshop, Pro Motion and such.

I have the basic framework for the program done, with pen tool and zoom working, but haven't had time lately to move ahead with it. But just last week I made a to-do list for if I was to go ahead with it, which I still might, if for no other reasons to keep me programming and for the fun of it.

This Grafx2 program seems like a true to form clone of the original, but its development has stopped and last version is from back in late 2006.

The question remains, "do people want a modern day Dpaint?"

If you want to download Grafx2 directly from Eclipse, you will find their webpage for it here: http://www.eclipse-game.com/?menu=tools&sub=graphic&dat=7
