[FLASH] Onions project

It's hardly a technical marvel, but I'm learning Flash, and I'm starting an ambitious project to explain how onions make people cry.

Is there any easy way to automate lip synching in Flash 7?

How are you supplying the information for the lip sync?..Flash is unlikely to help, much.

I have a sound clip with the voice playing in one layer, and the mouth (just a black oval with a white middle) which changes shape in another layer.

Currently I'm just setting keyframes and motion tweens, with the mouth set to different shapes at the keyframes.

Is there a way I could use Actionscript, perhaps?

The flash animation is complete. I have abandoned attempts at automated lip synching.

It was removed, as it does indeed contain the usual CK0 humour. Episode 2 is in the works. We will examine the death of the dinosaurs.
