Hi guys...
over 1 year ago, i created a new simple (not perfect) logo for a 96k game production that was nearly 80% finished but stopped developing and so it was not realsed until now! However i will try to recode this production in C/CPP using DX one day when i have some more time and when i am able to do the same things in C/CPP instead own API coded stuff in PB ^^ I think the logo would be okay, even for using in 4k or whatever...

Btw, i hope that i can very soon update the group website too... (still having some CSS problems, since the final design still exist since about 1 year)... i can post screenshots (design-previews) of the new website layout if you want...

Best regards...

- Screenshots look good.
- Thanks for adding DBF link
- I guess a lot of can help you with CSS here (incl me) but I think it would
be best if you post specific problems under General Coding page so everyone
can participate and benefit from it.

Btw, is your new page based on a forum/portal software or are you
doing it by hand. If so, which techniques are you using and are
there any special features your new page will offer ? Just curious ;-)

Thanks for your feedback and your quote to help me with possible CSS problems!  :kewl:

To answer bennys question... The old site was (nearly 2 years i think... also really very long!!)  without any real content! :( The new site will feature hopefully following things, if all works as i have for the concept

Quote
- 100% clean XHTML/ CSS code (w3.org verified) - I will try to split some stuff into php to have a most dynamic website as possible.

- Attempt to come with a new and modern fresh design (rounded corners and modern menubar) with a good overview and easy introduction (the idea is to have menu-blocks on the right site where the user can find all releases... AMIGA menubox... PC menubox... with OS icon ^^

- Attempt to add ALL ever released "SECRETLY!" productions (Amiga: 4k intros, 32k games and no-size-limited games, demos, modules, graphics, tools... each as ZIP archives and self running ADF images) since 1996 and ALL ever released PC stuff (64 byte intro, 1 intros, 32k game...) since about 2001.

- Idea to include FlashVideo for any intro, game, demo directly in the website...

Adding all releases (even the AMIGA stuff) may take some time, because i have to check which files (libs) the releases are require and pack each release as ZIP and as working bootable ADF to get it work without any problems in WinUAE or any original amiga or amiga emulator! Each productions will be shown with screenshot(s) too and some small details about the production!

The site is complete handcoded (no CSM system nor any other forum/portal software!) ^^ One of the biggest problems are the rounded cornders on IE and possible and other browser... In Firefox it works without any problems and looks very nice!

Maybe i will add later (as last part of site developing) a guestbook and photo-gallerie (from parties like unreleased ms1999 party-photos ;)

I love that design concept!
With the first link you posted, I can't see the new dbf logo.

Rock On!

Wow ... sounds good, Mr.va!n.

...

...

My personal advice here would be - try not to re-invent the wheel. Round
corners are so common nowadays, there exists loads of solutions free to use
in the web which has been tested on every common browser. Just have a
search for it - and I bet you will find a lot of useful libraries / hints on how to
make the round corner effect.

Quick search results e.g. gave me this:

@benny:

I'll put that on the things to do list straight away. Thanks for the heads up.
