There are some people on my facebook asking me to join Maifia wars or farmville or cooking game is load of rubbish!!!

Mafia Wars / Farmville are fucking pointless.

I even know people who created fake facebook profiles to boost their scores.
The problem with them is that they are games which have no point of victory, it's impossible to play them and your score is governed by the amount of fellow fuckwits you can recruit.

I wouldn't care, it's just that these people are so addicted that they think it's ok to spam every friend they have with stupid requests...

He he i know exactly what you mean mate.I just block all invitations from these so called friends and hide anything to do with these pointless applications on my news feed.That makes it a bit more bearable.
But for me you can't beat talking to people face to face whilst working your way thru copious amounts of alchohol.Ah the bliss

I must admit, I have been taken in by the Mafia Wars fad, and it is a time vampire, to put it politely.

I'll take it off my application list, as I'm over level 300 and there's no end in sight.

I've not bothered with farmville or yoville, but one of the cafe games is starting to get mildly entertaining. Still, if you can make a repetitive flash game and put adverts on it, it can make a bit of money on facebook.
