Connection charge does not apply when you take a Calls and broadband package or Calls, broadband and TV package.

It seems like they won't charge you that if you have broadband with them.

Shockwaves absolutey right there G.They didn't charge me anything to connect with them if i took their broadband even though i owed them an outstanding bill of over £100.They even wrote that debt off to make sure they got my custom again. :)

Did you have pay phone line for every 3 months which is about £40 plus?

or did you pay line rental which is £11.25 a month?

are you on £7.34 BT broadband?

could you show me the overall cost you pay in month?

thank you....sorry for asking you 64,000 questions lol :)

Just checked my bills Graham,my broadband is £18 month and is taken by DD monthly. My phone line is charged to me quarterly and cost £37.50 which works out at £12.50 a month. Not the cheapest i know but at the time i didn't have the greatest credit rating. ;)

it'll be a bit different depending on what plan you have. im on plan 2.
Also hotshot, I just thought you might be able to get a discount if you have a disability, it does sound steep £122.50 to be a bt customer.

it is alright now Clyde....I got the BT Landline number and I going to order 02 8MEG broadband online

now I come abit unstuck hence why I text shockwave over this

What is a Static IP address?

A static IP address is useful if you want to do things like:

    * Run your own web or email server
    * Set up a gaming server
    * Access your computer remotely

But for general Internet and email use – including online gaming where you just want to connect to other servers – you 'll be fine without.

It telling me that I would be fine without it otherwords pointless...

another things I saw was 02 TECH Support which is £7.50 a months....ummmm no thanks but happy to pay £7.50 a month 02  8MEG Broadband with Unlimted download which I think it is Bargain!

so Bye bye Mobile Broadband as it was like driving a mini which somethings that i wasnt used to it!

Here come to new 02 8MEG Broadband as it like having a Sport car that I going to drive  wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee   ha ha ha  :)

What is a Static IP address?
It means that every time your modem reconnects to the internet you get the same IP address.  Otherwise you will get a different one every time.  You don't need a static IP address to play games, or for other normal net use.
