GLSL Soft Particles
« on: September 08, 2010 »

Hey guys,

As discussed in another thread, I'm working away at a demo release for Syntax 2010.

Can you please test the attached "Soft Particles Test" on your hardware and report back.

It's a GLSL conversion from the Direct X version found here:
http://developer.download.nvidia.com/SDK/10/direct3d/Source/SoftParticles/doc/SoftParticles_hi.pdf

Cheers Volt

Thanks for testing everyone.  \o/

The deeeemo is coming along nicely.. definately the most advanced stuff I've done.  The party deadline looms... only 4 weeks now.

I'm keen to release a full demo after all of these years laming about... Wish my procrastinating ass some luck.

I may also need some ATI testing done, before Nov 13/14, if anyone can assist.  Gfx dude and I only have nvidia cards.

In Windows 7 64-bit I still get the "FB0 Issues Dude" message box with "Rot Row" now followed by a black window on pressing ok.

The demo lives.  We released it at Syntax Party last weekend, and came 1st in the nuskool category. \o/

I'm just adding a resolution selector dialog to the front, and I'll post it on pouet.net
