Glyph32 Maker
« on: September 15, 2006 »
This is a little program I wrote to create 24/32bit glyphs to use in my programs. It will output the glyph data as FB code that you can use in your programs. It is keyboard driven but quite easy to use.

It is working for me. It could be the server was unavailable when you tried it. Here is a link for the program and FB source on File Anchor:

Download glyph32.zip

Neat sprite editor :)
The download works fine here, what a useful tool that will be for making bobs! Thank you very much for posting it.

Just out of interest, if you are adding your cool programs and they are under 250kb and either contained in a zip or rar file,  you can even upload them straight to the board and they'll appear under your post as a downloadable attachment for members to download.

Just click the additional options tag under the window when you are writing a post if you want to attach a file to your post :)

It saves messing around with FTP sometimes, but whatever way you want to do it it's fine.
I might be using this glyph maker soon. I will credit you of course :)

Thanks! When I get some time, I need to write a GUI version of this and output more formats.

Hey this is quite cool. Pixel editings allways good fun :)

I have never used the Data command in Blitz yet, I noticed that lots of people here use it. Anyway I'll have a play around with it sometime see if I can include some saved glyphs in a prog.

It outputs FreeBasic code so you'll probably need to convert the data in Blitz.

Oh yeah thats a point. At first I had thought that it would have just been a set of A/RGB values that it saves, but if it converts it to FB code then I spose I'd have a bit of a problem.

I'll add an option to output data statements; that should work any Basic language.
