[DESTRUCTION] Toy Destroy
« on: March 26, 2011 »
This is what happen when toys gain life, yep destruction everywhere :)

I never used a physics engine before, so this challenge was a great opportunity for me, it uses tokamak physics engine to destroy toys made out of cubes.

Requires an updated directx9 and graphics card that support shader model 2.0 for shadow map effect.

Music         : Mick Rippon
Graphics     : google
Engines      : Tokamak Physics Engine
                    Bass 2.4 Sound Engine

Darn it, no shader support here. Any chance to see a video?

That's just awesome!  A little slow on my machine, but since it can't handle Jim's entry too good as well, I reckon I really should get a new computer. Sponsors? Anyone?  :D

I just get the error message "Create Texture Error", but I'll wait for the video.

Thanks all

Video is finally done, quality is not that great and sound is a little bit out of synch with graphics but it's enough to see what happened in the toy land :)

Nice!

I think that the explosion would be better if it turns out as cubes instead of flames...

That was impressive - the blocks had a convicing rubbery bouncy look to them when they hit the floor :kewl:

(Judging from the vid) ... I like it a lot. Cool that you added shadows to the scene.
