Hi dudes,

I'm Ar-S, i loved the old demoscene (redsector, budbrain etc..) especially on Amiga (the best computer ever).
I used to make some protracker a long time ago. Some years ago, i started to code in PureBasic on my PC (no more amiga, it's dead). I'm happy to find you. I'm from France so excuse by advance my poor english.
I'm glad to be here

:) Hi everyone. I used to be in a couple of Amiga demo groups back in the early 90s and watched in awe how far things have come. I used to make music in ProTracker and the like, and tried but failed to learn assembly language on the 68000. Hopefully, I'll have better luck this time around. I'm particularly interested in coding for the Mac but it's just a case of knowing where to start and which languages & tools I should be focusing on. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 :hi: guys!

Looking forward to some brainwave experiments infohaulic! I'm quite interested in the emotive headset.

@ agnitio
I'm currently enjoying couch coding with codea on the ipad. It's using LUA, so quite high level scripting but lots of fun. I'm not very familiar with the mac world though.

Greetings!

I am a "well seasoned" structural engineer who is attempting to learn FreeBasic/FbEdit quickly for use in an online engineering class that starts next week.  I found this site while searching for tutorials.  Prior to this, I last programmed in FORTRAN77 in 1991.

Looking forward to getting back in the saddle again.

Welcome, Mytmanfred,

We've got quite a few experienced FreeBasic users on here if my memory serves me correctly, so you should be in good hands.

I've also been trying to get back into coding. I'm helping a newcomer to the site, but I'm being distracted by some problems at work.

Hi Stonemonkey,

I'm also playing with Android, I've downloaded Android Studio and Visual C++ for Cross-Platform Mobile Development option just to see which one I'll be more comfortable to work with.

Anyone else coding for mobile devices?

hi rbz and ck0

ive made a start with c++ using c4droid, along with SDL2 and some inline arm asm which is a bit different. At the moment my project seems to be heading towards some sort of sprite editor but ive got nothing to show for it yet as im just working on some file/ directory stuff.
