Title: FB_Fusion WebSite v.9b
Post by: Rattrapmax6 on June 19, 2006
Aye, I love setting around and writing sites for some odd reason.... Anyway, I got around to making one for FB_Fusion.. More so a crazy site than a strict site (I know some others hated it, but they were all by the book web devs, and didn't like my experamentations it seems.. hehe)

Anyway:
http://www.xteraco.com/FBFusion/

Renders in a PopUp window, and uses JavaScript for the bulk of the work load.. but has fun features.. Globaly (all main stream browsers) get tables aranged as free to move about windows (double click to auto grab them, click to drop), and a 3D cube in the background.... Browsers w/ PNG translusency support (Firefox, etc) get glass like table-windows, amping the effects...

Still in Dev mode, me and Xteraco throw around random Ideas at times.. I had the Window Idea, he thought a 3D cube and transparency would be a nice touch, and so on.... Adventualy I wanna work on a z-buffer so the windows can change depth, anyway, enjoy! It rocks if you care less about sites being by the book.... lol...  ;D

That's some real nice design, it works great with Firefox too!
I love the moveable translucent windows.

You really nead to move you sites to port 80, port 8888 is blocked by most firewalls.

that would be my area, and the reason i will not move to port 80 is because my isp blocks it

 ;D It's been updated...

I took it out of the pop up window (to combat any popup blockers.. nasty blogers.. lol), I added more detial to the windows (inset the text-fields, and added two toned translusency), and a Z buffer for the widows...

May get a lil buggy on any res under 1024x768 .. But I think the norm now and days is that and above, I know few sites that work only at that res or above..

Anyway, enjoy!  ;D

Works well here under firefox, better now that it's not in a pop up window :)

Updated! I was shown some CSS code that allows translusent backgrounds on Internet Explorer.... Now those that don't use firefox can see the site in it's full colours.. Enjoy!

Looking cool dude, can I suggest a different colour of logo, as it's pretty hard to see on the rotating cube. Which for me is bright white with a bit of AA on the edges.

Nice,
Clyde.
