Hey guys,

thnx for the fine reaction :)

I had the screenchoose option in but I removed it because i thought fullscreen looked better but next time I leave it in :)

It's 100% opengl coded in PB v4.x so It's weird BikerBoy then you only see a white block.
But I have to admit I use blending for the transparancy of the logo so maybe it's related to gfx card but I'm not sure tho.

However I'll ask for more testers next time :)

Ofcourse, thats a good idea. It's your code I changed (maybe not correctly but I changed it  ;) )
And you are right it's pure PB v4.10 beta4.

In attachement an example file and a .pbi file which contains the procedures including some textures so the example can run :)

I hope somebody can optimize it or help me a bit  ::)

Thanks shock for the clear explanation.

Actually as you explain it it does not look that hard :)

What I have forgotten, and you are right about that, is the zoom command to resize the sprite when necessary.
Actually i just clip it and I don't care about the size *lol*

I'll try to recode that part !

Never thought the answer was getting here that fast...

I'm coding in PureBasic so I'll have to check how I have to do it there but i'm definately going to try both ways. (after my holiday, I leave in 2 days)  :D

P.S. Scrolling a texture, never thought of that .... for doing a scroller. I'll try very very soon...

Hey guys,

I was watching some intro's the last couple of days and I noticed the remakes of those neat Vision Factory intro's.
A couple of there intro's have those nice twisting/curling (or how to call it) sinusscrollers effect.

What I mean are those sinusscrollers which look like a "tube" so you see the backside of the characters aswell...


Does anybody know the technique behind it ?

All help is welcome since I got no clue  ???
