[LIQUID] Elevatex
« on: March 20, 2010 »
Ok, this will be my last entry for this compo. After messing around with my first entry I thought I could make a procedural terrain map and texture, and this is the result. Not exactly cool as Elevated , but I'm still proud of it :)

There's some keys to try:
- Space: Recreate a new world
- F1: Blue Planet - Earth
- F2: Red Planet - Mars, you will discover lakes on there :)
- F3: Random Planet - Make a new color planet. Warning! Be carefully with Pink Planet... you would like it... and you can stay there forever... :mince:
- F4: Create a caustic effect like in under water or clouds shadows depending on the planet color...  ahhh Ok it was just a bug turned into feature :)
- F5: Surprise...
- Use your mouse to change look at view.

Well that's all, I hope you enjoy it.

Lovely underwater landscapes there RBZ :)
I like the Caustics effect too and I think that I would have claimed it was on purpose if I'd come up with that!

Lovely scapes. I guess this has something to do with the liquid challenge because it is supposed to be underwater or be a landscape with water surrounded?

 thx :)

The first idea was to make a landscape with water surrounded, but my procedural sky didn't look any good, so with texture "bug" it ended looking as underwater landscape.
One day, I hope I can make it look like Elevated. :)

It's like being an AUV. Which is brilliant. Just when I thought I had imagined everything, a new possibility comes to light.

Cool underwater simulation, innovative use of letters, the bright green color is definitely my favourite
