[Javascript] JSModPlayer
« on: May 24, 2011 »
Cool. Modplayer (.XM and .MOD format) using nothing but Javascript. Have a look at the example page:

http://billy.wenge-murphy.com/jsmodplayer/firefox.html

Currently it runs under Firefox only since the Audio API is not standardize yet.

Is there a way to play xm / fastracker2 songs in tinyc5? Or is it only capable of mp3?
I ask as i'd really love to play the oldies! :)

@Clyde:
Unfortunately, no. TinyC5 is just a library for pixel processing and nothing more. But there should be absolutely no problem mixing TinyC5 with other libraries. Just try out above's lib and/or have a look at the music stuff within codef-repository http://code.google.com/p/codef/source/browse/trunk/extras/codef_music.js.

Ok, great thanks for the link.

I'm not entirely sure on how to link it and playing a song with it. I wouldn't mind also having ago with the tune as an asset and loading from memory, as aposed to loading from a file.
