DirectX9 - Apps will disapear when exit
« on: February 19, 2008 »
atm i am sitting here with my best friend and we are trying to code some missing things for our actually project. He have two screens on his PC....    Screen1 == TFT    Screen2 == TV

I have shown his my actually work on his PC / TFT and it seems to works even fine on Vista! *yeah* When exit the program all his Windows (apps) from Screen1 (TFT) will be moved and only visible in Screen2 (TV) ... I have no idea why this happens and where to search in the code nor how to fix it. Does someone still had this problem or know how to solve this? thx (PS: programm exits without any error nor crash on XP and Vista)

Is he running nView nVidia's desktop window manager?
I notice a lot of these tiny demos change the desktop resolution and that messes with desktop layout in an unpleasant way, especially if you don't have Auto Arrange switched on, but a fullscreen directx app shouldn't be doing that. :(
