[IMAGE PROCESSING] Dither Ordered

I have not been able to find much time to participate in this challenge, but I did manage to whip up a Dirther Ordered converter. When the exe is run it will open a file requester and you should point to an image either jpg or png. Then it will open a window the same size of the image, so make sure that the image you pick is smaller than your desktop size, and then it will convert the image and display it.

It converts images quick enough to be used in real-time I think.

What's also cool about it is that it saves the dithered image it creates so that you can inspect it afterwards.

I was going to make some kind of small intro thingy and then use the effect as a real-time effect, but time just got away from me, so I figured that I would rather get it into the challenge as it was, and then perhaps do something with it at another time. Its been a long time since I managed to get anything done for these challenges, so I really wanted to participate this time around. Hopefully I will have better planning for the next and get started a lot sooner before the deadline

I forgot to mention that it saves the result, which might surprise people, but now they know

@Zawran, Atleast you made something for the challenge, I havent had any time to do much myself, real life stuff been getting in the way alot. Dont think I have opened any ide in weeks, what little time I been on the PC i have either been browsing the various forums or catching up with missed tv shows.

Hopefully I will get more time for the next challenge

Dithering is a great tecnique.
Just looking at the results fromy your program it really becomes apparent that you can get by pretty well with only 2 colors and a good dither pattern.

Great work brings back some nostalgia from low color days gone by.

Excellent dithering - it's got even more shades than my 1-Bit dithering option, and it looks smoother for it.

Thanks guys. I would be cool to see it on some graphics that change, so I might try and get something done with this during my two week summer vacation which I started on today

Sweet! Loving the way you save the output to disc, I can see myself using this from time to time. Nice work.
