Hi guys just joined here. I'm currently a senior in high school, I know a few basic programming languages, mostly used with simple robotics like C++ and lua. Interested in some of the posts on here and figured I would look around.

Hi everyone,

I'm Ashok Gowtham, an enthusiast programmer and a developer. I'm generally interested in anything that puts grey matter to work. (yea cheers, fellow programmers!).

I've one among those who were inspired to write their first raytracer after reading the contents by iq ( yup, Inigo Quilezles [rgba]) from his site.
BTW, I'm 22; from India; graduated in under a year; spending time playing with graphics on variety of platforms/frameworks like : HTML5, GLSL, PC-GDI+,  PC-openGL, and of course interested in perpixel contents generation.

Something that I'm good at is, image processing and Math. Hoping to be good community member  :)

Just thought I'd make an "official" introduction.

Anyway, I'm not a developer, just a C# hobbyist, and dabble with other languages as needed. I play the piano - I was actually going to major in piano performance before I realized that it wouldn't pay my bills! - so I'm by default a little artistic and see programming as one of my ways of being creative. I was in the "home automation" industry for almost 10 years, working for a dealer before recently starting to work for a manufacturer.

My wife hasn't made the move yet to Texas with me, so I have a TON of free time on my hands and what better way to spend it than programming?

Hi preda,

Welcome to the forum,

I'm not familiar with Forth, but I'm sure somebody here will know a lot about it.

Hello,

I'm Cabbibo. I didn't learn until about a year ago that we lived in the future. Since then I've been making as many visual / aural experiences as possible. About a week ago I learned about the demoscene for the first time, and realized that its what I've been doing without even realizing it. I can't wait to dive deeper into the rabbithole, because this is the art that I truly believe in.

I have no idea what I'm doing yet, but am constantly learning more. If you want to see what I've done so far (Mostly using WebGL and Web Audio API), you can check out My Site . I am most interested in learning, specifically in C++ , because the more you know the more you can create. Please message me about anything, I'd love to meet as many kindred spirits as possible!

Thanks combatking0!

I am currently working on some glsl shaders, that are way more fractal based, but they only seem to work on my  computer...  :(

Hello everyone.

I'm new on this forum so I decided to make a thread to introduce myself.
I'm about 20 years old and live far, far up north. I love everything regarding computers and have always done.

I'm kinda new to programming though, I know html, batch, php and javascript but now I want to learn some heavier languages.

I hope to learn alot from you guys in here and I'll hope you like me.

Best regards.
