Hi ikari glad you could join us here  ;D

Have you got any examples of your work to show us mate??

My experience is very limited i`ve only worked with examples from others and changed various things but to create something by myself from scratch i can`t say i`ve actually done yet apart from a sine scroller and some simple windows thats say hello world lol. So although i know my way around code i would have trouble creating something from scratch as my learning has been on/off over last year or so.

I have been involved in computers since the early 80's on the C= 64 and later on the Amiga 1000,500 and 1200 and the PC world. I was always fascinated by the demo scene and the cracktro scene on those machines. Now I run an IT Department for a large corporation, but still love to dabble in different programming aspects.

Thank you,

SilverHawk

Hey everyone! I'm Marcus from Sweden. The demoscene caught my interest at DreamHack -02 when razor won a 64k competition with an intro called "we were". I haven't created anything myself yet but I hope to be able to get started with the information that I can find here, seems like a great place! :)

He,

My name is Pim.
When i first found this site i was amazed at the amount of resources and knowledge that is available at this web site.

My personal preference is in FreeBasic for coding.
My projects are not so much coding demo's (although i am getting more into this when reading various posts) but more of retro game programming (keen Commander / secret agent stile) in either dos or windows.

I am currently working on a (for my standards) BIG project which is a game called SLIMO.
SLIMO will be a full fledged platformer game (8 - bit style) .

Ok, got to go ---> will soon upload some screenshots of work in progress.

hello to everyone,

another longtime lurker joins the forum! :)

i code mostly with:
 - purebasic (it's awesome) for private tools like converters or editors (win & osx)
 - 68k-asm for demos and small games (amiga & console)
 - cross-development (mobile) for ios & android

nice to be here,
blastar.

:hi: blastar to the forum :)

Purebasic? They always improving and updating so often plus the files size is so small when come .exe  :)

68k Asm? Devpac or Asm one? Either way is good

Cross Development? Java isnt it?

Hi! I'm 0xDADA11C7 from Ukraine. I`m low level coder and moderator of ukrainian forum replace.com.ua. I know and use  PureBasic, AutoIt, (F/M)ASM x86/x64, JavaScript and C (some ++, but i don`t like it). Computer graphics isn`t my work or hobby but i know - demoscene is beautiful and your forum is beautifull. . Hope to create in future some crazy demo, translate to ukrainian your tutorials and so on. Sorry for my ugly english.

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but I've been gone a long time and hopefully I'll be back on a regular basis.

Sorry for not being very active for the last year or so, but I'll try to be constructive.

How is everyone?

the 3d p.t. style game i am building is built on the nvidia terga development kit so i can deploy it too android or pc its quite cool. i don't post much of my projects here anymore though because i dont know if anyone is getting anything from them which is a shame.

its nice too see you around again! looking forward too your java/php stuff again!!

Glad to be back :)

While I've been away from the forums I've been working on a novel. I'll elaborate more on that in an appropriate thread, but I'll be writing some Javascript effects to promote it in the form of a website.
