I'm Pete. Started out on Blitz Basic, and now code in C++ on PC. I've joined here to offer harsh one-word comments and unconstructive criticism.

Hello,

I used to muck about with assembly on the C=64 a wee bit and ARexx on the Ami. Upon occasion I tweak, fix or completely break C/C++ apps for Linux.

I am not a programmer.

I write songs primarily on the C=64, Amiga and NES.

I released a few things; but only on my C-Net BBS and at a time when people had pretty much abandoned BBSs for MUDs and the Internet.  They might be out there somewhere.

Hi,
Great forum! I was thinking of setting something like this up until Zawran pointed me in this direction. My demo days started off in Quadriga back in the Amiga days of 1992. Recently I started again on the Mac scene under the same alias DaD1916. Demos written in anything other than asm or c++ may be frowned upon by the critics at pouet but it's the end result that matters, only the tools are different! O0

A belated :hi:
We have nothing against Asm or CPP here either mind you ;) We have forums where you can post that stuff and get help on it if that's what you're into, luckilly there are a great team of members here with a wide knowledge span that covers a lot of languages and we're just here to help out where we can and to enjoy demos :)
