Hello, joined so that I could download tiny sid post attachment.
Hi cybro and welcome on board.

I'm looking into making something, maybe a small demo, with pelles c. Originally I was going to try and use dumb with the samples compressed with wavpack, but this takes too many kb.

I remember Pelles C ... isn't this a C compiler also for Pocket PCs? I had a look at this ages ago. Looking forward to see your production.

a little introduction:

me: real name: tor-helge skei, 41 years, lives in trondheim/norway.

previous demoscene activities: xenon dev (fix/so?), excess (timeout), inf (nothing released), ..

previous work: funcom, dynamic imaging, systems in motion, .. (currently disabled, not working)

code: asm (6809e/x86), pascal, c/c++, jesusonic, arduino (processing/java)... (plus a little forth/basic)..

music/bands: atrox, manes, kkoagulaa, manii, .. (a bunch of albums released, lost count..)

currently trying to re-enter demo-scene (looking for people to create new demogroup, or to join existing one), plus, creating a 4k intro framework (good progress here)

...nice to be here...

don't know.. i have unfortunately been 'out of touch' with the demo scene for years now, just following it from the outside (pouet.net, etc) .. but if there's people from some of the old 'trøndelag' groups (excess, lost souls, xenon, ...) working there, i might have known them in the old days?

thx :-)
well, haven't done as much arduino stuff as i hoped.. mainly bought it to experiment with some analogue sensors (flex, ir, temp, touch..), convert these to midi and pass these into daw/sequencers, for controlling plugins/softsynths, etc.. and some tiny visualization stuff for the same sensors.. as said, not too much (yet), but always looking for ideas for new projects..

... the new Raspberry Pi looks like it can be a much more interesting platform...

Hey everyone decent enough request for registering here on these forums, just say hello! I hope to do more then that, but no fears I'm well aware on searching and doing my own research saving the new thread making for last or cool stuff I find.
I love a lot of arts from traditional, now more digital, music, and coding tho after playing around back and forth with it over some years I still feel like a noob with a small idea of what I'm doing. What I would ever want out of code for me would be first fun, and then maybe being able to write some cool stuff for blender scripting. Well don't want to rabble on I've got more reading to do and checking out of this awesome forums lates!
