Hello everyone!  Just got back to check out that new weather competetion and say hi to you all!  See few familiar names from that old yabasic forum and lots of new faces.  How are things here?

I have been experimenting with html5 and making small html/javascript games lately.

Hi Tronkko!

Good to see you back in the fold. I've been playing about with JavaScript too. The capabilities of dynamic web pages have really advanced since the Yabasic forum was active.

hi tronkiko,

its brilliant to see you around again after so many years :cheers:

i am between javascript html 5 and java for the android platform atm. i have always been a fan of portable consoles so javascript and java is now at a point of being perfect for sharing between multiple platforms, portables included.

Hi there, I'm a dude from the UK who likes cats and arcane programming languages. I've written games for the GBA, DS, C64, ZX Spectrum, Master System and Amiga 500 and now do hardware electronics too. I popped in to share my Yabasic work! See it in the General Chat forum.

Hi!

My name is Enrico, from Italy, near Venice. I started coding when I was 10 (in 1981) on a Vic-20; then I was proud owner of the mighty C64 and A500, then 286 etc. I've programmed in many languages (e.g. asm, Pascal, C/C++) and software projects are my daily profession. I always loved demos, but unfortunately at the time my young friends were gamers or beginner basic programmers and there was no scene around here. Now I found this cool forums, so here I am and... who knows... let's see!  :)

Greetz!

Hi All, just stumbled upon this site whilst surfing for old demos/cracktro's that i remember from my mis-spent youth.
I grew up with C64 and A500's and would watch the demos with awe!
Furthest I got was TRSI demo maker......hehehe
Have just bought a C64 and an A500 to start re-living my youth and show my 12yr old what real games/demos are all about.
Total novice, would love to start from scratch and learn/teach my son as we go along!
Thanks for having me aboard
John

Hello!

About 15 years late to the PS2 Yabasic "game" .. didn't have a clue what-it-was / how-it-worked back in the day, but am having a lot of fun with it now.

Hi moon! You'll find a load of us here started out with Yabasic, and there are loads of programs scattered about in the old threads for you to try out, and various emulators to run them on whatever devices you like. Have fun!

I love semi-colons way too much ^^;

Hi!

Ex-Class.
Like C++ and PHP.
Most of my jobs were tracks.
Done some asm when other classmates were to busy.
So rusty at it it's pretty shameful.
But want to learn new stuff.
Never ashamed of question.
Interested in security and girls.
I'm 25 years old.
Attractive.
I smoke too much.
But bench 120 kg.
Want to make new online friends who are intelligent, want to brag about myself and also help others in friendly manner.
Take care.
