[Halloween]: Blurred Pumpkin
« on: October 22, 2007 »
Hey all.

A very little entry to this year's Halloween Competiton called : Blurred Pumpkin.
You can download it at the following location (approx. ~850kb, sources included) :

http://www.weltenkonstrukteur.de/ext/BlurredPumpkin.zip

Unfortunately, this whole thing is thrown together rather quickly. I did test several frameworks
and lost too much time for the actual effect coding this time. Speaking of frameworks, for this
production I used the SFML framework.
(See text for complete / detailed credits.).

All this including the "scroller" was hacked together rather quickly - so sorry if I forgot someone
in the greetings list. Unfortunately I am going to be rather busy in the next days - so today was
my last time having some spare time to contribute something to the contest.

It works fantastic here. Hats off to you Benny the choice of music was spot on. And I liked the effect when the pumpkin almost comes into focus then starts to go back out of focus. And thanks for the greetings (you greeted me twice? ;D)

Hi Benny,

it seems my computer isn't capable of running this one - I get "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem."

Is there anything I might need to install to make it work?

I'm afraid I'm not sure, but I have been able to run it on another machine. I like it - definitely a contender!
