Retrocool

Ok, here's the first bitmap font on the offerings and as a thankyou from us here at the board.
More colours to follow soon in a zip archive.

Dimensions: 32x32 with 64 frames & 256 colour mode.
Note all my fonts are designed in an 8x8 grid and the first space is always clear for using as a space.

To save right click and direct to your desired HD location.

You may need to change the image format from png to whatever suits your fancy, to do this providing you have a good package should be easy and not need any explanation.

Cheers once again.
Clyde.

What are the limits (if any) for using and distributing this? I like it a lot and want to use it, but not without permission, especially since I am new here.

I think you can use it however you want, but it would be nice to credit Clyde for making the font.

cool, here is a link to a small lib for fb that I made that was actually inspired from seeing this font.

edit:updated: I realized that the end character was pointless and error-prone. Now it finds the end of the characterset by looking at the size of the bmp.

edit2:ok i have a seperate thread, all future stuff concerning this lib goes in there:

Delete dude, as a contributing member of this forum you are free to use and abuse with your own creations. If you want to credit me fair do's, but im not entirely too bothered as I know that it's my gfx being put to good use as intended. And Im thrilled, that it's inspired ya.

More colour combinations are planned, and will be done all going to plan over this weekend. I will be designing brand new ones, especially and exclusively to this forum if it proves popular. I like to help people out in any way I can and am able to.

Just going to try your lib out now dude.

Cheers and all the very best,
Clyde.

Thats so cool dude, if you wouldnt mind posting that as a seperate topic in the gfx section that would be swell. And you'll get more and better response from people.

Cheers and wicked work,
Clyde.
