Thats some awesome ascii! I cant do ascii art :P Do you have a version that runs on a phone?

It might actually be cool to write a game for very old phones like that using ascii and some clever symbols. You might be able to do something quite complex. But I can never figure out what symbols to use. Is there some kinda cheat sheet? Like
"( is often used for curves"
"+ for corners"

Nice little intro there, Bikerboy. Well done.

Please try to add "Quit on ESC" functionality in your next release.

What benny said :) It's pretty easy actually, just end your do-loop with

Code: [Select]
Loop until multikey(&h01)
(multikey(a) returns 1 or -1 (I don't remember) if the key "a" is pressed (!! "a" must be in hexadecimal and point to an ASCII character => &h01 is the code for the ESC key)

@ spitfire

glad you liked it man  :D

i'm no ASCII artist my self , i added little things in this small intro myself

http://www.network-science.de/ascii/ hope this helps out anyone else who wants to do an ASCII scroller :D

a phone version of intros would be nice but i'm afraid i can't code it for a phone, but maybe someone else in this forum can help you :)

@benny! & hezad

sorry about that guys :-\

i tried to make it close with esc but when i replaced

Code: [Select]
Loop until xText<((-len(a)*8)-16)
with

Code: [Select]
Loop until xText<((-len(&h01)*8)-16)
it closed ok but after a while the scroller froze, that's why i made it with the console to open up so you can close it ::)
