EDIT:

Amazing, this is really great! I'm going to really sit down and study the spline section of it when i get a chance. I've always copied and pasted code for splines without really understanding the basic math behind them.

Yes its a great idea, hopefully one he will stick with and make more. I also thought the spline tutorial looks interesting, so I will try and work my way though that and see if I can get the drift.

Splines are great fun, and not just for camera paths.
I havent read the tutorial yet but they are hugely useful things. I particularly like them for simulating electricity effects, you can make some wonderful arcing displays with them.
