I've seen the link before, but don't personally own it...I agree it looks interesting.

I have that book... but, unfortunately, it is not that much interesting (1st attempt... written in 2004... lacks most of the "scene spirit" I would have hoped to find and concentrates mainly -or, at least, too much- on PeeCee prods). It can be little fun to read and very thin (lots of screenshots)... you can try to find it just as a collectors item, no more no less...

Consider Freax Vol.1 and the accompaining Freax The Art Album as a MUST id you are really interested (You can also buy these at Vesalia online shop).
If you like C= machines I would also suggest On The Edge: The Spectacular Rise And Fall Of Commodore

Some years ago has born a sort of magazine called "SCEEN" that focus mainly on the audio/visual aspect (DJs / VJs / Art / Underground Culture / Events) paying particular attention to Demoscene (there are just 2 issues to date, if you plan to give'em a try DON'T subscribe any subsription but just order single issues as they come up... since 2005 just 2 issues... you know...).

almost forgot... please take a look here,4104.msg54959.html#msg54959
