It was really shocked and suprised to hear about this, and typing as a Chef.
Mostly down to the crazyness of the director Dave, the places that dude cooked in and at, half the time utterly bonkers, and his food still rocked. Often getting funny looks and tellings off from the people signature dishes he recreated. He also made that tune ( was it the stranglers?) his own!
Without Floyd, I doubt Rick Stine would be in the public gaze as a TV Chef.
It's also a tradgic shame about Patrick Swayzee.
