It looks like DarkBasic Pro is now free. It says it is ad driven, but I am not sure what that means. I might d/l this and see what it is all about.

I bought DBPro some years ago, messed with it for about one month and all I can say to you is that I don't miss it.

It might be good to prototype stuff or as a tool to teach new coders but apart from that I don't see it as having a lot of use tbh.. I've only ever seen a couple of good things made with it.
