What about adding your tips and tricks for Visual Studio here? I am not sure if the following is well known or not... i just found it out randomly.
Display of ToolBox:The standard display of the toolbox is a long list with its icon and text in a horizontal line. On the one site this may be nice to see what it is (mainly for newbies) but it cost time to scroll this long list and search a specific form.
To have a nice small overview of all items display its icon only, you have to to press right mouse on the toolbox list to open a menu! Just disable the ListView checkbox
