This effect is cool, again though the exe will not run.
I checked the listing and it's because you've specified a path to the fire sample.
I had to remove the path to the sample to get it to work, it worked fine then.

@Clyde,  it's not in opengl mate, it looks like it's gfxlib from the source. Exe doesn't work due to the hard coded "C:\fb.." etc. which isnt needed if the file is in the same place as the exe/source code when making it ;)
