Wow, really good! I like how each tile has a gradient to make it look like scanlines!

Cheers guys - the scan lines were a simple but hopefully effective touch which added some much needed detail to what would have otherwise been a basic dithering effect.

Worked fine on Opera, the music fit well with the cube and "that effect that i don't remember the name but it's commonly used on oldskool demos" :)

The subliminal message at the end? It could be a circular interference pattern.

Very cool CK, reminds me of my uncle's Amstrad with green-screen monitor. Looks very authentic :)

Just saw online version Combatking0 : very amazing and nostalgic. I'm new here, if only I could find how to give you good karma points.

Hi Baudsurfer (great name btw - Is it because of the 300Baud akkustikkoppler /BBS scene?) ...  anyway - you need some posts before giving karma as far as I know. Maybe Shocky can tell the exact precondition for giving karma.

Anyway - welcome to the forums!

Hi Benny. Thank you for information about karma condition giving.

Also thanks for pseudo compliment. when I was a teenager, and first modems (hence BBS) came out in North America (before US Robotics gave them 2400 HST), I envisionned moDEM DEModulation as analog circular function signal wave, and as a semi-pro skateboarder then, I could see (with help of substances)  myself gliding on that wave as a surfer would. I don't know when or where "surfing the net" came from but that is the origins of my pseudo.

We've got a US Robotics modem at work. I'm not sure which year it's from though, but we don't use it any more.

They made some interesting noises - I wonder how long it would take to download a typical demo - or even a Windows service pack through one of these devices?

Cool one ck0! Your entries are getting better and better. Keep it up! I also liked the green about it, reminded me of the times I played Cauldron on an Amstrad CPC at a friends house. Good old times. <3
