Here is variation #2. It is interesting how small changes in the code result in quite different looking output. Since these all use the same basic code, with minor changes and I am not sure if that violates the rules, so I'll put this out as the contest entry for this group.

Layered Chladni Images

This is the second idea on had on generating images, using layers to generate an image. The base image is created and then two more images are blended with the original image to produce the pattern. It isn't as effective as the previous programs, but does produce some pleasing results on occasion.

The layered version produces some really lovely images Rick :) They are all cool.
