COMPETITION WINNER! CELLS

AUTHOR:HELLFIRE POSITION:1ST DISCUSS:CLICK HERE DOWNLOAD:CLICK HERE DOWNLOADS:3370
Hellfire won the challenge with this great Voronoi based cells extraviganza
Watch the cells divide, slide over each other and when the atmospheric music starts, they begin to flash in time to the beat. It's very effective and try clicking the screen with the mouse and dragging it to stir things up a little.
COMPETITION WINNER! LESSER

AUTHOR:FERRIS POSITION:2ND DISCUSS:CLICK HERE DOWNLOAD:CLICK HERE DOWNLOADS:3395
Ferris grabbed second spot with this fabulous entry.
It's a 4kb journey through some kind of microscopic ecosystem, you can see various kinds of lifeform pulsating and traveling through the system. Another very impressive aspect of this is the fantastic music using his own softsynth. This demo requires a new graphics card with ps 4.0, if you don't have one check the topic on the forum where you can watch the Youtube video.
COMPETITION WINNER! BACTERIA

AUTHOR:JIM POSITION:3RD DISCUSS:CLICK HERE DOWNLOAD:CLICK HERE DOWNLOADS:3401
Jim got joint third place with this excellent entry.
It is a battle in a microscopic world, it's Mold versus Bacteria in this epic fight. The bacteria multiply and group together for survival while Mold cultures grow over the screen, killing them on contact. It looks pretty neat when there are a screen full of the little critters wriggling around and dividing.
COMPETITION WINNER! MICROSCOPIC WORLD

AUTHOR:RBZ POSITION:3RD DISCUSS:CLICK HERE DOWNLOAD:CLICK HERE DOWNLOADS:3365
A very highly magnigied cell structure is pulsating in the middle of the screen, the edges are blurred as if seen through a microscope It is made all the more interesting by the collection of simpler looking cells which are flowing over the large one and bouncing off each other as they do so. The large cell looks fleshy and organic while the smaller ones are translucent in appearence, very satisfying to watch.
