Wahey! Well, after a very successfull competition, it is a real pleasure to have seen your beautiful and imaginative entries to this challenge! You all never cease to amaze and impress me with your programs and I know that there are a lot of other people here who feel exactly the same way as I do when they see the things that you make for this board.

You guys are the greatest! You make it all worthwhile and I would like to start off by thanking each and every one of you who took the time to enter the competition, you all rock.

As set out in the challenge rules, all entries get an entry bonus and they look like this; (k = Karma p=post count)


combatking = +2k +50p
Jim = +4k +100p
Mind = +4k + 100p
Optimus = +2k + 50p
Paul = +4k +100p
Rbraz = +2k +50p
RDC = +4k +100p
Shockwave = +6k +150p
Slinks = +2k +50p
Taj = +8k +200p
Alieneye = +2k +50p
Thygrion = +2k + 50 p
Mr.P = +2k +50 P

Now in addition to the entry bonus, the top four places have all got a little something extra special :) Actually third place was tied between me and Taj which means that there are two third prizes.

I'd to say thanks to shockwave for organising this, to alieneye for the outstanding banners and to everyone who entered because it was great fun seeing all the entries.

Hey, you got a banner last time, smarty pants!

But on a wider note, I was amazed at how many of us worked towards this competition, and I think it was a good demonstaration of what a wide variety of programs we can produce as a comunity. Well done eveyone, especially shockie for organising it (not to metion adding in MrP, which must have been a tough desigion).

Would it also be good manners to thank the academy?

Congrats to everybody for entering and especially to the four winners, I really like those sigs. I'd be proud to have one of those..... Bring on the next compo, and please don't make us wait to long for it......

I will add the missing post count to the members who supplied source tomorrow evening, it's been a grueling afternoon downloading well over 100mb of data to get this forum backed up and then the upgrade was a major undertaking. Hope you understand. I *will* get around to it soon.
