Great gfx and nice tune too!

This is nice!
-
You know we love this, don't you ?
Are you drawing squares instead pixels right ? Nice one ;)
Great work Wham and Roly
-
Nice :) I especially like that pixelated-ish effect.
-
Awesome, as always.
-
Cheers, yep the effect is rendered onto a workbuffer (much smaller than the screen) then expanded and blasted onto the screen (800X600) with a little bit of asm :)
Thanks to Wham and Roly for the cool media and also to Rbraz and Jim for the tools I used.

Cool intro, nice colors and good music. It would have been great with a windowed option like you have had other times. Blowing it up on my 24 inch monitor doesn't look as good as a windowed version would have, I think.
-
Cheers Zawran :) I will release the source soon along with a windowed version.

Hey Shockie,
Thats very nice indeed. A cool mixture of new and oldskool. Very nice logo too.
I would alter it to fit more with the main animation (maybe you could apply the pixellated effect?)
The pixellated effect is very nice, shader-like in character - receives the Taj Approval stamp ;-).
Once again, you prove you are master of software rendering. I think this is one of the most impressive things you have done Shockie.
-
Praise indeed! :) Thank you very much for your comments Taj :) Glad that you liked the intro.
Would you believe that the lighting is just a metaball routine?

Yeah I guessed, you put up some timing demo of that earlier on the board. Its amazing how much our eyes will forgive when it done quickly with style. I think this is one of things software rendering guys can find that hardware guys tend not to...as we are more fixed in what we can do (until shaders).

Welldone all :)

Very good intro. Well done. Congratulations !!!
Looking forward to see more cool intros like this in 2oo7 !!!!
