In POM the theme was "patterns". In ROM the theme is "reflections". Yes, another Chladni demo. (Actually this was just an excuse to try out the VU code Rbraz posted. :) )

Welldone, alot of hardwork has gone into this. I especially liked the tunnels, also very clever stuff with the transitions.

love the sin-distorted, layered, chladni tunnel. not a sentence i will say often I suspect.
Great work. Nice layering, some original things in there.

Bugger, it won't run here :(
What screen res is this in mate?
-
It's in 512 by 384. It's a standard resolution in FB, but maybe it won't run on a laptop. I'll try a different res.
-
That's why it won't run then :)
Any chance of a windowed mode ?

It runs fine on my laptop! ATi x600.

good stuff :)

Runs smooth here. Well done - fine production !
-
Thanks.
I recompiled this for 640x480, and added a few tweaks while I was at it. It should run across the board now. I think runs a little better now actually. That'll teach me to try something new. :) Link updated.

Very nice :)

Thank you.

that was awesome.. I especially loved the part where the window showed the tunnel, while there were the 4 patterns flashing to the beat of the music..
You put a lot of time and work into this. enjoy your due congratulations =)

Thanks.

The new version ran really well here :) I am yet again amazed that you managed to get a whole demo out of one technique! Mel was sat here watching it with me too and she liked it also.
The textures were very pretty and you have some nice ideas, the circular lens revealing things is a great idea, however I particularly liked the tunnels (the first one was the best). And thank you for the greet!
Have some K :)
-
Thanks man. I am glad it ran for you. I will stick to the standard res formats from now on. :)

Took a few seconds to get into but man this is really nice, and theres quite a bit to it too. Oh yeah and the shiny shits cool as well. Well done, I Impressed ;D

On this point i have to thanks for greetings and give you K++ for the nice work :goodpost:

Jeez, that is worthy of respect. I've never managed to cook a gfx card with an intro :)
Shame Rick doesn't come around here any more.

Cool stuff, I have no idea why but I laughed when it reversed from the 4 images and the tunnel in the circle to the tunnel with the 4 images in the circle but maybe that's just me being weird.
