Hi.
I was experimenting with various soundsystems and their callback function for
syncing. Having this cool competition in mind I made this as an example.

I like this man. I am going to call this the break-dancing scroller. ;) Nice job, as always.

Thanks mate. Yup .. "break-dancing scroller" would fit here, too ...
Glad you like it ;)

Hey, thats really smart stuff dude. Nice one :)
-
I love it, that felt really oldschool. You know when you see some stuff it just has the right look? It's one effect but it works.
-
Thanks mates.
I hope to use more syncing in upcoming productions. Always liked synced
intros and demos, too!
-
I'm impressed :D really

Yay benny, super cool music and a really neat effect. Very good use of synch in 2d.
-
Cool, I did one similar back on the Amiga, sure brings back memories, thanks :)

Thanks a lot for all the nice comments. They are very motivating. Thanks!

Strange ... when I download the attached file (see first post) - I download it as index.php. After download, I have to rename it to .rar in order to unpack it.
Anyone knows what's going on. I just deleted the attached file and re-upload it with proper name - still the same behaviour ?
-
I have checked it and work fine but the scroller is super fast as I couldnt really read it! LOL

Downloads fine for me. Are you using a download manager (Getright or IDM etc)?
Looks cool too! I like the movement in time with the sync. Classic tune too :)
-
I second that. download and demo does work. awesome synching :) nice work benny.

First, thanks to the feedback and your testing.
This is really strange. Download still does not work properly under Firefox. When I download it it gives my the following popup:
Downloading file: index.php
Filesize: -1kb
...
-1kb ??? WTF ??? Thats really strange. I just tried it using Chrome and it works as expected. Thats strange because I never had such a problem with Firefox before? Anyone knows whats going on here?
What browsers do you use to download it?
Best,
benny!

I used Firefox. I use Internet Download Manager which first picks up index.php and then resolves it the proper filename.
-
Hmm, works fine here with Firefox 7.01 w/o any dl extensions.
-
This seems to be a problem with the latest upgrade of Firefox.. I don't use FF anymore I use Chrome but I have been told by one other person about this download problem.
