I have uploaded to the showcase area a couple of my old games which I hope will entertain a few of you :)
I have added both Vectoroids, a version of asteroids coded in blitz2d using a filled vector engine created by Zawran and myself originally for demo making.

I also added my RR2003 entry Timepilot, I remake of the classic Konami shooter from the 80's and one of my favourite retro games. While not 100% the same it is just as challenging and alot of fun :)

You can find them both in the misc. section of the forums downloads.
Cheers

Thanks for uploading !!!

Thanks folks :)
I have a few more of my games and alot of my demos back on my PC so I will look at packing them up and adding to the showcase over the next week or so, dont want to flood it with all my stuff in one go and some needs to be re-compiled as I notice it fails on my newer hardware, a few bugs that for some reason never got caught before :D
One game i will try to get uploaded is the Vectoroids sequel I did as it's a step up from the original with some nice powerups etc. to play with :)

I cant seem to find them ???
But I remember Vecoroids
I love homebrew games :)

There in the sites showcase section under downloads/misc. I couldnt attach them to the post as there to big being blitz files. But there under the size for the showcase area :)
-
You put them in the right place Jon :) The forum is really only meant to be for competitions and work in progress stuff, the showcase is for completed things :)
-
Nope sorry I cant see them, no post from you there, I must be missing something, can you post a link to the actual post, maybe I just need glasses
-

Nice 1 Jon. Timepilot i've never seen before, love those old games :)

Glad you found them.
Btw Daf the upload limit in the showcase is 1mb so it can handle bigger projects than the forum, as long as it's a completed project it can go in the showcase if you find you have something you want to upload there in the future, be my guest.
