Title: Music wanted
Post by: CoDeMaN on March 21, 2007
Issue 5 of Oldskool UK's ASCII newsletter will be released in a week or 2.
At present we have no music to add with it  , so is there anyone out there with some unused music they would like to donate :) OR anyone willing to knock up a tune or 2 ?

Last issue used mp3 which made the archive very big so we are looking for some small xm or mods to keep it small this time :)

Cheers :)

The newsletter is fine, but Codeman, what I'd really love to see is the new apod with the cracktro music :) You wouldn't be stuck for a tune then.

I no longer have anything to do with the newsletter m8
(not sure if its gonna be released as no reader for it , but not my problem)

Ive been in talks with Sarek about Apod 3 Cracktro edition ... Nothing happening yet but ya never know lol .. Be a perfect end to the Apod series

It would be a very good end to the series indeed.

Sarek's graphics and your code deserve a better showcase than an ascii newsletter tbh, even though you did a great job on the reader for the last issue.

What I'd like to see from you in truth Codeman is some real intros, I promise that I will code those tutorials and help you in any way I can.

If your stuck for tunes dude, and aren't after original and new stuff, ModArchive is a great place to get some.

And yeah it'll be cool to see some demos from ya dude. OT: I remember you having a bit of a problem a while back with understanding Dimmed variables / Arrays, if your still after a bit of help - I'll see about doing a tutorial; unless this area isnt being taken up by others.

All ze best,
Clyde.

Yup clyde im still having pros with that kinda stuff :(

Any tutorials would be great m8..

Been looking on Modarchive and theres some great tunes  , trouble is there always someone who has to bring up the "ripped tunes did you get permission" crap so wanted some new music :) ....

I think for now ill do as Shockwave mentioned and knock out Apod 3 while waiting for some tutorials  :)
