Iconic Cracktro conversion here!
This one may be exited at any time using escape, but if you want the full Amiga experience, use your left mouse button!

Love that rubber font effect nice one Shocky

What can I say ... just AWESOME. Well done, shocky. Love it!

One of the best in this compo, excellent work shocky
-
nice woek shocky. :)
but i have a suggestion , why you do not fade out the sound when mosue botton clicked.
I have used to fade the sound with picture , it will be more attractive.

Thanks for the comments, glad you liked it :)

Because the original Amiga intro does not do this :)
-
ok , i see .
BTW i think you allow the modefication while remake the Amiga demos.
-
love that sin`d background text with drop shadow, excellent remake mate thumbs up :goodpost:.
-
Thanks Nino :) The first time I ever saw this intro I thought it was a drop shadow myself.. You have to take a closer look to see how the effect actually works, it's a nice idea, but then again Melon Dezign had lots of nice ideas!
Emil, sorry, I was asked by someone in Unleashed to make a conversion as accurately as possible, I will not alter a classic work of art like this cracktro. Why don't you try a remake of it? :)
-
ok shocky , i try to remake it but you are very smart coder so i think my try will not work. :)
-
I think your conversion will be fine mate.
-
youve got me intersted now shockwave is it that you draw a first pass of the logo in a gray shades with a diffrent sin value to the second pass?
-
One copy of the logo is sined three ways :) One is sined two ways.
Both are sined vertically, also both have a sine stretch effect, one is sined horizontally and where they overlap you get the green colour.
Very easy to do this sort of bitplane effect on an Amiga, this is the beauty of this intro really. It was a little bit harder to make the effect on the PC than on an Amiga.
-
cool cheers for that mate!
-
nice 1 shockwave, I love the text writer!
-
Thanks Tetra :) 'twas a pain in the ass to do as well! Though not as much work as your fabulous entry!
