Title: C / C++ Forum.
Post by: Shockwave on May 02, 2006
Is there a demand for a forum to cover this language?
If so, we'll need somebody who can look after it for us, please post your thoughts below and if you can look after it for us, please drop me a PM and I'll create the forum for you.

Cheers,

Shockwave.

I'd be interested in one. I've been thinking of getting into C for a while, now.

Obviously, I wouldn't be the one to maintain the forum, but it would be very helpful to have one while starting out in the language.

It was one of the languages mentioned on the Ezboard survey post.
Unfortunately all I can manage in C++ is a "Hello World" proggy.

I know Rbraz is a dab hand and some of the other members can use it too but we really need someone to look after it if I'm going to add it. I'd like to learn it too.

Yeah, I think Fryer tried it out a while ago, too?

So, hopefully somebody will be willing to manage it.

Well, I'll add a C / C++  forum as soon as I can find a post to put in it!
I wonder whether there are any knocking around on the old board.

What version of Visual C++?  The one in Visual Studio 98 (MSVC 6) sucks.  Faster than GCC though.

I suppose that this topic could go into a new C++ forum for a start and we can wing it from there.
I'll set it up either tonight or tomorrow.
