Title: Please Help Me
Post by: ScottyBrosious on June 26, 2007
Sorry to post another topic on the subject for glucylinders
but I really could use a small program that lets me plot a glucylinder
for one 3d point to another 3d point.
Can someone please help me I am not understanding the last post.
I promise to give credit to who ever helps me.
I am trying to make real nice looking trees but right now
they look blocky because I am useing rectangles instead of
cylinders.
I've looked all over the net but I can't find much that helps
because I don't have a working program that does this in freebasic.
So for nicer looking 3d trees in freebasic could someone please code
a fragment up for me?

Thanks
And to those who help
the project's code will be free for the downloading.

Thanks Again

Scott B.

Scott, please read this!

First of all I want to thank you for your questions, they are all welcome and plenty of people have gotten a lot out of your questions in the past.

Three interesting topics you started.

Now, don't let this discourage you from asking for help here in the future but something I noticed from those posts.. You never post back afterwards and let us know how you got on.

You certainly have good manners when you want something, but to just vanish after people here have written your program for you is frankly bad form.

Posts seldom go unanswered here so when you post, please have a little patience and please do us the courtessy of posting back to at least thank the people who help you with your questions just the same as every other member of this forum would.

I would never write a post like;

"Please help me, and please write the routine for me" Without thanking the person or people after they helped like you do. It's like saying ok I got what I wanted from you so I don't give a fuck, I'll come back when I want to use you again.

Also you might get some benefit from taking more interest in this community instead of just posting a question and then vanishing without thanking anyone when you got your code.

I'm not surprised that Jim posted code for you as he's a real helpful gent, it would be nice if you said thanks this time.
