Title: Any Two Xbox 360 for £30? That more like it :)
Post by: Hotshot on July 31, 2007
I bought Crackdown and The Lord of rings(the batte of middle earth 2) for £30 which I think it is bargin! I seem to collect more xbox 360 games very quickly then sell on ebay this xmas when go to 50 XBOX 360 games for profits eh?  I always hunted down bargain oringal xbox 360 games like £10 in markets!

So far, I got 20 xbox 360 games. There is one things I am kindy surprize that there is NO formla 1 for xbox 360 (I do know PS 3 have that) but it would be nice if xbox 360 have fomla 1 too.

Had anyone bought any bargain games that you have saw like retro games or any games that you have saw?

cheers

I've been getting some VERY cheap PS2 games for my PS3 from EB Games.  A month ago they were doing 2 for $50 (£20), then last few weeks 2 for $40 - all brand new games, and now, if you don't mind second hand ones, they're doing 2 for $30.  They must have traded in thousands of these games, the shop is ceiling high with them.
I bought Jak 3, Ratchet and Clank 1, 2 and 3.  Anyone suggest any more PS2 games I should try to pick up?

Speaking of XBOX360 ... I visited a friend of mine last sunday. We played 8 hrs non-stop
Rainbow Six Vegas (http://rainbowsixgame.us.ubi.com/vegas/index.php). Never imagined how cool games on a XBOX360 are right now.

Now I am really thinking about buying a XBOX360 myself. I just need to justify this to my-
self because I think I am going to waste a lot of time on it. Maybe I can justify it - if I try
to write some little C#/XNA games for XBOX LIVE ARCADE ;-)

I hardly ever use my Xbox360 nowadays, I only ever play call of duty 3 and call of duty 2 on it anyway... I got a bit pissed off after buying gears of war and hating it.
Sure, it looks and sounds amazing but it is just too damned difficult. I am thinking that I should have done what Jim did and waited for the PS3. I could still have used my old (and sadly dead) PS2 games on it.

Hmmm .. interesting. I also thought about buying a PS3 - but after played with
the XBOX360 I wonder how much better the PS3 would be. Then my friend, who
owns the XBOX360, told me that there are more, better and exclusive games
available for the XBOX and that the PS3 is much more expensive than the XBOX.

What should I do ???

Guess the best thing is to buy none of them and start coding something new ...

You need to ask yourself which games you want to play, I really think it all comes down to that.

Xbox games are amazing looking but I don't necessarily think that they are better or worse or more or less fun than other games on other consoles..

If you want to play Grand theft auto, get a ps2 :)

Or better still upgrade your PC and wait for the computer release.

Don't buy a PS3 yet.  It's too expensive and there are hardly any games out for it.  That's why I'm buying PS2 games, some of which don't play too well under emulation (eg. R&C2 can't be played at all past level 4).

That will change radically in the next 6-12months though, as the new games come out.

Shadow of the Colossus, definitely. And I'm sure Slinks would second that.

My wife just brought me Amped 3 (Xbox360) for my birthday for £10! What a bargain that was! I love my Xbox360! Cool bit of kit! Games are stunning - Just downloaded Colin McRae DIRT demo and the physics on the cars is just amazing! And has anybody seen/played Ninety Nine Nights - the movement on the screen in that just totally craps over the PS3! :) Did i mention I don't like $ony that much? I think the PS3 is soooo over priced and over hyped! Sorry! I do have an Xbox 1 and a PS2, the only game I play on my PS2 is Guitar Heroes 2 but I tend to play loads of stuff on my Xbox and Xbox360 . . .

Cheaper games are good for all concerned! About time they were a little cheaper, I mean £40-£50 for a single games is taking the piss . . . do we not think?

Cheers
Drew!

Uhh ... just bought a XBOX360 last saturday !? I really like the whole live marketplace
community the xbox has ? Does the PS3 has such a big online community, too ?

Anyway, if someone wants my gamertag - just pm me ;-)

Oh yes, Metal Gear Series a must play. The game is just perfect, I mean real perfect. The story line of the game is better then the storylines of the movies you ever saw I guess. I had Metal Gear Solid Substance somewhere back in 2002 I was totally addicted to that game.

Some other nice games, Time Crisis 2, Crazy Taxi, Delta Force Black Hawk Down.

No.  Lots of games are playable against other people online, and there is the Playstation Store and personal messaging, but the online community stuff hasn't been released yet.  It was supposed to be out this year (the latest missed date was Firmware 2.0 update at the beginning of November).  Now I hear it's going to be March.  I suspect it'll be great, when it finally comes out, but waiting for good stuff seems to be a big part of owning a PS3 at the moment.
