Arg, behold a game of wits, ye land-lubbers.
The greatest ship ever to set sail, and to be made of pastry, the Black Pie, has set sail.
The Pie Rats must find their way to it, but first they must decide which colour to paint their pastry boats.
Can ye be victorious?
(Tested only on MSIE - this may annoy some people. Sorry. Cross browser compatability isn't something I'm very good at yet, but I'm learning.)

Seems to work here on Mozilla Firefox. Didnt read through the rules - because my time is limited.
But I will have another go this evening when I am back home. Looks definately interesting !!!

Thanks Benny!
It's a game I originally programmed in Yabasic for the PS2 (back in the day), but back then it didn't have any AI and it was called Germ Warfare.
I programmed it from scratch just for this contest, as the Yabasic and JavaScript languages are very different.
The AI starts off very confused, but it seems to improve once it gets near an opponent.

It's similar to Othello, not the same rules obviously but it works well here in Firefox :)
Thanks Tony! I like the game, we don't get many games posted around here.

You're welcome.
I have found a bug - if player 1 is set to CPU, the game won't continue until a manual user takes it's first turn.
I'll attempt to write a fix for this, but I'll issue it after the competition is over.
Is changing the entry after it has been posted viewed as cheating?

Hey, thats quite cool. Nice to see you got some AI going in it. I found it kind of hard, but then I never really played othello. Oh yeah and it works fine in firefox here too :)

You can patch your entry as many times as you like before the deadline.

Cool.
The patch is almost there.
The Captain Jack Sparrat will return in "Pie Rats of the Carribbean: Dead Rat's Pie"

I have patched it now - it should work fine.
