Yesterday I had the pleasure of driving to North Wales to a nice little place near to Pwhelli to meet Tetra, a friend of mine, an ex-member of the group DBF and also a moderator of this board.
I have always wanted to meet Daf, I would really like to thank Daf and his family, especially Joy and Dave for making me feel really welcome.
Unfortunately it was a 4 hour drive and as I had to come back the same day there was not really enough time to see or do much, but we did manage to go to the pub and have a few games of pool... Can't remember who won, it might have been Tetra!
Thanks very very much for the really warm welcome, and you know that if you ever find yourself in South Wales that you should call into Llanelli so that I can repay your hospitality! The Barbeque is always at the ready and I can surely knock up some bangers and mash if you'd prefer that! Hehe.
Anyway, I took some piccies, and here they are,
Firstly is the view across the sea from the pub we went to, the pub is called The Cliffs and we had a nice barmeal there and a few games of pool.
The view is spectacular, the day was quite overcast, I can only imagine how nice it is when the sun is out!
Secondly is a picture of Tetra and me, Tetra is the one with the black t-shirt on.
Thirdly is a picture of me and two of the families horses, One of the horses is called Jacob (the brown one), The black Stallion had a different name, I forget now what he was called.. I am terrified of horses, this is the closest I have come to a horse for about 10 years.
Last but definately not least is a picture of Joy (Tetra's mum) with her horses having a cuddle :) Thanks for the nice welcome and keeping me supplied with coffee Joy!

It's at the end of quite a large peninsula Benny, Tetra told me that at certain points along it you can see the sea on both sides of you.
The sea looked very inviting too, but I didn't have my swimming shorts :)

That's cool. I wish to live at the sea one day, too !!! Thats what I dream of ...
