It's funny how things work out sometimes. I am happy as a coder in Surprise Productions, but today I heard some rumours about my group which I can't post here because I do not know if they are true.
I also heard that there is someone who is apparently angry with me about something which I never said.
This is all happening because of rumours and bullshit that is being talked about in IRC channels at the moment. It is not fair because i do not have an IRC client and can't respond in those channels.
But this is here for some guys who I know will read this, I am upset at these rumours and all I want to do is code. I am not interested in arguing with any sceners. I want to be everyone's friend. Why can't you be friends with each other too and stop your fighting?
It kills groups and productions.
Fuck that.

i had the same problem, that there has been bad rumours about my person and group over a long period... so i know how you think about and feel... i really dislike stuff like that too... but sadly you cant change things... let the people make their own opinion, that is what and how i did it... if ppl want believe the shit they should... else they should think about...

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...some people are pricks. You have to learn to ignore them.
You still have my sympathy. It sucks when you try to do something good and people try to spoil it.

It seems that there might be some trouble ahead, but I still don't know if there really is any problem in the future for S!P, I have talked to Nuke and he told me to relax and wait until he speaks to TMB.
I like being in S!P damnit! I will be pissed off if something bad happens to the group. If I ended up without a group again I don't know if I would ever join another one.
Sometimes when a fight breaks out you have to take a side, even if you don't want to.
I can see how enigmatic this post is, I apologise for that.
I trust everyone here, but I know that other people browse this board who might take some remark I make out of context and I don't want to contribute to any harm that could occur to S!P.
Some people are born troublemakers, one guy in particular I wish I had never had anything to do with but when I first spoke to him he seemed ok.
Bah!
The DBF group had some productivity problems, but as far as I can remember, we never had internal problems like I am seeing now and everyone got along together.

What Jim said. But it seems that even though they might (think they) have some reason, on the net peoples behaviour can be quite different to how someone would act in real life too.

Good luck Shocky. I think Jim has the right perspective on this. Just do your thing, enjoy it, and let others indulge in their paranoia and pathetic little bullshit angry rants. If you study the posts on Pouet you certainly see the infighting and stupid flaming that goes on in the so called scene. So be happy with your family and friends everything else exists only if you let it.

These type of people have been spoilt and protected by their mothers. Now they are hiding behind their terminals.
The internet brings like-minded people together and, unfortunately, the not so good ones as well.
Some rumors are hard to deal with (I've had a couple), but they will fade when they don't get the response intended.
People get put on pedastals by some, others kick them off because they are.
This is a good place to go to on a bad day.

Hehe, the shit is hitting the fan now, TMB, Teis, AM-FM and DaXX have either left S!P of thier own accord or have been kicked out, I con't work out what happened.

Rbraz, you are one of the most genuinely nice people in the scene, people will definately not equate what happens between s!p and ravebusters with you.
I am so sorry that all these childish posts were put on Pouet last night and I will tell everyone for the rercord that if I find out that any member of S!P contributed to those posts I will be leaving S!P.
They were childish and hurtful and I want no part in them.

I feel it's my obligation to say to you all what I was working on. What really hurt is to see such good project going into trashcan :(

Or if not, why not take your project to another group and get new gfx and music?

Now that is good news! It would be a horrible shame to see this project go to waste after so much hard work has gone into it :) I am happy for you Rbraz.

Well, the situation is that somehow flame wars broke out among some of the members of S!P, some people were kicked out of the group by Nuke and Haddoc who are as far as I know running things now.
On a couple of occasions I have had the opportunity to find out more about it, for example when I have talked to some of my contacts I've had offers of viewing log files of conversations etc but I mostly decided against it because I did not want to be dragged into it.
There are a few things that I still can't get my head around and probably never will, and there are some things that are just plain sad, like the fact that TMB and Nuke broke off thier friendship for example.
As far as I know, the group is stable again now and there will surely be more things made in the future.
From a personal point of view I don't have any inclination to make another intro / demo / whatever for a while.. I will code for S!P again and maybe I will do another intro with fasm, probably I'll use more bytes next time.
Right now I will just work on my Halloween demo, I am not sure what other things that the members of S!P are working on.

Don't worry about the Ravebusters or S!P.. I am sure we will go our ways now in peace. I had close the website for a while because i were bit angry about all this comments on pouet and lost the moods, but some loyal members finaly bring back the mood to continue the group. They are right! It was founded ago over 20 years and should not closed for a pouet crappy war of fakeusers which are to fig to write with the real identities and we finaly all produce our releases for us and not for pouet or crappy up/downvotes...
Nuke and i had talk a bit and could clarify, that no one of S!P was responsible for this attacks on pouet! The only shame is, that it seems to be one or two of the Ravebusters Members. But i kicked out some Members now!
I'm tired of that because i won't spend my time in members which have more interests in spamming websites instead of beeing productive for the group projects...
lets have a look in a peacefull future now.. we are all adult...

Thank you for posting that you have sorted things out with Nuke too and I am glad to learn that it was only a couple of bad people who are not in either group now.
I was amazed that PS actually banned a couple of guys over at pouet (including am-fm), I've never seen anybody banned at Pouet before.
Another thing is this..
I posted publically over at Pouet about the music I used in the Gears intro.
One of the tunes was by AM-FM (or so I thought), actually the melody was stolen from a module by MiChU of Ravebusters, AM-FM just completely ripped this melody, I want to apologise to MichU and DaXX for using that song, I did not realise that the melody was stolen.

Michu was'nt Member before in ravebusters... :) ...
amfm has send me a startup of a tune in august.. i don't remember when ... he ask me for finishing this tune... but i did'nt know that he has rip the tune by michu. after michu joined us and uploaded all his mods i have give them my ear to listen them all and find out that in 1 chiptune was the same melody like in am-fm's stuiped beeps.xm... so i ask amfm why the melodys are the same and he answer me that michu has ripped them... so i was really angry and kicked out Michu... But it was a misstake because after some recherching i found out, that Michu's Tune was much older and presented not finished in Milkytracker Channel. It seems like that amfm grab it there... The best is, he wrote my name and ravebusters inside the module and all thinking again that i am the ripper of this tune... >:( that was enough for me and after i know that the fakeuser account "enrico / tony" is from am-fm i kicked him...
yesterday amfm told me, that this account on pouet is a doubleaccount which is used by himsef and int3rpol. ???
some guys have really nothing to do... its a shame that i allmost closed the doors of a group for this war on pouet ::)

I won't comment any further on what happened as I have my own idea about the whole thing, but sorry I won't share. Why did I answer then? Just to show how silly it is to defend or attack people you really never know! You can cheat everyone in real life...just imagine on the web!
Good to hear things are "solved" by now but once again it's the kind of advertisement S!P wasn't looking for...
