Win32 Remake of the Skid Row cracktro on Amiga (Ron Klaren music)
-
WTF? "stormbringer" must be the code name of a secret location filled with tiny programming elves who program day and night. Row after row of desks with an amiga500 on one side and a PC on the other. The only sound is the click-clack-clickety of keyboards (half size for the little elven fingers) until one of the thousands of elves leaps up and shouts in a high pitched voice:
"Cracktro 3072 complete"
Then a hushed silence decends. An old bearded inspector walks over and the demo is run, from start to finish, the hall filled with the sound of two chip tunes playing simulktaneously from the amiga and from the PC. All the elves wait and watch the inspector.
He smiles.
"We will...release it."
There is an enormous cheer and a shower of elven hats thrown into the air. A large gong sounds and the inspector returns to his release PC and the elves again descend into silence as each tries to be the next elf to release.
The inspector logs onto DBF and smiles to himself. For a moment he pauses, surveys at the elves and he smiles smugly.
Nobody, he thinks, will ever know.

thank you guys with for your kind remarks! I really appreciate!
@chris: I really enjoyed the littl story, so with your permission, I'll drop those lines into the scroll text of a future remake! I wish this was a true story.

As you know, I've told you before, there is no way I could make remakes as fast as you of this quality!
If you had been here when we had the remakes comp you would have done really well!
This is a great conversion of a really famous intro :)

lol of course, glad you enjoyed it. It will be my biggest contribution to the oldskool scene! Please feel free to correct the horrendous spelling Inspector.
