IMPORTANT, IF YOU DO NOT SELECT THREE OPTIONS, YOUR VOTE WILL NOT BE COUNTED
That was scary for a while ;) (pun definately intended!)
The competition ran on and on and for weeks nobody entered.... A few people including me were wondering if this was going to be a comp with no entry but we needn't have worried!
This year we have an excellent turnout, everyone was busy putting the finishing touches to thier demos and there were stories of frenzied, alcohol fuelled productions being made!
I must thank everyone who entered the competition, please download and look at all of them if you have not done so already and please come back here and vote for your favourites!
You MUST choose 3 of the options (please bear in mind that the forum software allows us to see how many votes each person cast in the poll, members who do not use all three votes will have thier votes disregarded). The reason for having to choose the best three is purely for fairness!
There is a screenshot of each demo below and a description of each one to refresh your memory!
Thank you for voting, this poll will run for exactly 5 days.

It displays a rotating pumpkin while an animated bat flies around in the starry sky.

this is like the third challange i had no idea it whas going to be helt until voting started :P
The challenge was announced by newsletter, several posts on the forum and even on the main page top right (for a whole month).
We'd love to have more entries to our competitions so here are a couple of suggestions;
Check your emails.
Be around here more.
-
Check your emails.
Also in the spam folder as DBF mails were flagged as spam by my ISP...

21 people have voted already! Keep the votes coming :)
(3 people have voted for thier own productions! Very unsporting :P)
-
Really great batch of entries, congratulations everyone!
-

Ooooo nasty...
-
Nothing in the rules against it I suppose (this time!)... . .
I think that it won't make any difference to the votes here in the end though.
-
Thank yu all for this amazing
peace of code...
I enjoyed all intros i saw...

Cheers

Never been so difficult to chose, well I cast my votes keep em coming people
-
3 people have voted for thier own productions
shocking really...
shurely this goes against voting for three diffrent entries if folks are going to vote for them selfs.
i want to know who done it ;D
-
I can't tell you that Nino :) It was not against the rules..
But there is another way of looking at it.
If it had been the leader of the Labour party putting in his vote, would you expect him to vote for the conservative party? :)
-
Keep voting ... 28 voters right now !!! Cool !!!
-
This is the best group of prods for any compo here that I have seen. Congrats to ALL the entrants on some really wonderfull stuff.
-
@shockwave im cool with it really i guess the rules state vote for your favorite 3 and if there demo was amongst there favorites then thats cool i guess......... :-\
-
It's been a superb contest this time round, with some stuff I didn't consider to be possbile to be done by less than four people in only three weeks.
Sheer brilliance!
-
32 voters so far too :D
Keep them coming!
-
Update ... 33 voters!
-
Wow, my Karma total is higher than the number of voters!
MORE VOTERS PLEASE!
-
37 :carrot:
-
Welldone to all that entered :)
-
I have created this years award ceremony. All I need to do now is insert the winners names once they are available.
-
I must say, I've been going through entries again and I wish I could have more than 3 votes. I mean how do you compare yabasic 3d triangles with scroller in javascript with morphing million cubes or ps2.0 shaders? How do you compare oldskool with newskool or design and tech, mood and humour? In the end I'm so confused about what to vote for that I'm glad I did it early now.
Happy halloween!!
-
Yeah - this competition was a blast (can you say this word in this context ??? ) !!!
Happy Halloween to all of you !!!
-
It is always difficult, but I always pick my favourite technical effect. When I cannot decide, I select using my sense of humour. It hasn't steered me wrong yet!
-
Well congrats to everyone , especially Jim! That late night with no sleep paid off. Happy spooky Halloween.
-
Congratulations to the Winners :)

That was a great compo -- I can see that I am going to have to skulduggerously start work on my Xmas compo entry now to have any chance at all :diablo:
-
Karma++.
Most fabulous word use ever in dbf : "skullduggerously".

Shall I start a campaign to have it included in the Oxford English Dictionary?
