Title: Anyone here play Kenta Cho's work on ABA Games?
Post by: Pixel_Outlaw on October 29, 2007
If you don't know Kenta Cho is one of the most respected independent freeware developers among the shmup community.
His work can be found here http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~cs8k-cyu/index_e.html.

If you look under the windows section he has many full version games that are great to play. I'd be looking for some score competition if anyone is interested. They are games to have on your pc. Actually one of his games Tumiki Fighters is going to be published for the Wii.

I guess he programs in D. I think he uses OpenGL for his rendering too.

His games can be picked up and played for 15-20 minutes, even though they are played for short amouns of time they don't really fir the minigame feeling. They provide fun for the casual player and even more fun for serous players who understand the deeper mechanics and play for pure score. I presonally like rRootage and Parsec47.
