Hey all,
I cant understand why TEAM 17 wont make those Popular game for pc such as
ALIEN BREED
Body Blow
Project X
Superfrog
Full Contact
Arcade Pool
Overdrive
apadia (shoot em up)
I am sure the graphics of today would be outstanding if they did made for pc instead making all the bloody WORM games(the reason why they make worm cos they know people will buy it as one of my friends say worms game is lazy coding and GOOD moneys meaning they make big buck for every worm they sell)

Alien Breed Impact is out for PC! YAY :)
-
Cool, wasnt aware of that! hope it's like the originals.
I remember a blitz project of Alien Breed which got some support from Team 17 members. It was very good!
-
Alien Breed would be a good laugh, just for the sake of nostalgia.
Someone should convert this stuff and sell it as a compilation.

The trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmJL8uztqWo) for Alien Breed Impact looks good. You can get via Steam it looks like. I don't think there is going to be a box version on this.
-
looks nice :)
most steam games are "online" games so i hope this one plays online with others.
i already have steam installed so i might give it a try.
-
It's episodic.
Loaded / Reloaded was pretty cool as a Alien Breed Clone, and not forgetting Chaos Engine :)
-
they re-released "diabolik" also, maybe they're out of ideas and they're recycling oldies :stirrer:
tested alien breed, i liked it's gfx , it's movement and the overall gameplay.
dunno maybe i'll buy it.

Some info, this is an updated version of the xbox360 version called Alien Breed: Evolution, its mostly a bug fix.
I have played and completed Alien Breed Impact. And I'd say save your money, it's very short and doesn't have that edge it had on the Amiga and any console conversion.
It's a bit boring and repetitive to be honest, only six levels - mind you they are quite big maps. It's good that Team 17 have pay'd tribute to an awesome game series. The control system will make you dizzy. And it is a shame that they've used the Unreal 3 engine, I'd of liked for them to have built their own system.
