once again MS has released a new version of DX9.0c (why does they dont change the char c to d, e and so on?) argh..

This time, they've removed DirectX Retained Mode, DirectX8 and below, DirectMusic, DirectPlay - good riddance too.  You need a previous SDK to develop for them.  The rest of the stuff is just patches to 9.0c and 10.0, I guess that's why there's no new version number.  Even with the removed stuff it's still a 400Mb+ download.
